How it was made
Colophon
Every moving image on this site is real footage by a named person. Everything that is generated says so here.
What is real and what is not
Real — the footage
All 12 full-bleed loops are real video by named photographers, licensed from Pexels and credited in the corner of every band. Nothing is AI-generated video.
Real — the text
The case modules, the evidence ladder, the reconciliation table, the corrections register, the build order, the parts bin, the name lists and the bench are her words, parsed out of her own files at build time rather than retyped. Where this site adds a sentence, it is this site’s sentence and reads like one.
Generated — the narration
The film’s voice is synthetic speech. It is not a recording of any person, and it is not presented as one.
Drawn — the mark and the diagrams
The mark is a hull frame section over scrieve-board battens — the lines a lofting floor is laid with. It and the assembly drawing are SVG drawn in code, not images.

Each loop is cut so its last frame is the same picture as its first, and each one is checked: the seam is compared against that clip’s own adjacent-frame difference, because comparing a seam to a fixed number tells you about the film grain rather than the wrap.
